Job Description
The Department of Religion and Philosophy is seeking a motivated and organized Student Assistant to support our social media and marketing efforts, assist in implementing a peer mentorship program, and help with general administrative and organizational tasks.
Job Location/ Hours Required
The Student Assistant will work mainly in David Hayworth Hall. Hours will vary depending on job requirements, but typically students will work between a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
- Design creative projects for video, print and/or digital media that may be used in email communication, social media, mailed campaigns and more
- Assist in event planning and promotional efforts
- Assist faculty in coordinating departmental mentorship program
- Assist faculty with teaching or research support
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 3.0 overall GPA
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to follow instructions and help with any task
