Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing and Mechanical Systems Integration, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:
  • 1. Defect monitoring and characterization;
  • 2. Root cause analysis;
  • 3. Problem Solving;
  • 4. Process Optimization;
  • 5. Statistical Process Control;
  • 6. Design of Experiments; and
  • 7. Error Proofing Systems
Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced technical guidance to personnel, engineers and management on technical projects or large-scale changes.
  • Lead cross functional teams to solve very complex fab-wide issues.
  • Manage multiple mentoring relationships with junior engineers to help them develop technical skills.
  • Manage technical review efforts to propose, refine, and confirm root cause sources, apply effective countermeasures.
  • Work on extremely complex assignments that require an in-depth evaluation of intangible variance factors.
  • Review and consult for designs of experiments (DOE) setup and results interpretation.
  • Provide technical roadmaps for the organization.
  • Provide technical expertise to project teams.
  • Ensures and promote a mindset of high quality and continuous improvement.
