Requirements
- Be a UBC Sauder undergraduate student.
- Be proficient with managing social media platforms.
- Have familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
- Be committed to advocating for inclusivity and belonging at UBC Sauder.
- Be able to work independently with guidance.
Responsibilities
- Assist the CUS Equity & Inclusion marketing team.
- Create and publish graphics and short-form videos for events and initiatives.
- Report to and work with the Equity Advisors on assigned work.
- Assist in creating a newsletter for the commission.
- Provide assistance at Equity and Inclusion events and boothing.
- Attend weekly team meetings.
Desired Qualifications
- A strong desire to learn from diverse perspectives.
- A portfolio demonstrating experience in graphic design and video creation, including long- and short-form work.
- Graphic, video creation, and marketing skills.
- Community building and student advocacy skills.
- Understanding of social justice and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion principles.
- Public speaking and communication with stakeholders and diverse groups.
