Requirements
  • Proven work experience in a full software development life cycle
  • At least 2 years experience in software quality assurance
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting and ability to validate data directly in a database
  • Knowledge of and experience in automated testing tools
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
Responsibilities
  • designing and implementing tests
  • debugging and defining corrective actions
  • review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts)
  • Create quality measurements to track improvement in products
  • Execute quality improvement testing and activities
  • Develop quality assurance standards and company processes
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand
  • Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
  • Work closely with the development team to improve existing products
  • Maintain standards for reliability and performance of production
