Requirements
  • MD in Anatomic Pathology (or Doctorate with equivalent training)
  • Minimum 5 years of prior experience in relevant field
  • Ability to travel extensively (may be more than 60 percent)
  • Demonstrated experience in interpretation of diagnostic results and customer education in diagnostics
  • Experience in developing and enforcing medical and scientific strategy and providing strategic direction to senior leadership
  • Experience in quality systems and achieving quality objectives
  • Ability to work with customers, sales and marketing teams and provide technical support and issue resolution
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating continuing education workshops and programs for graduate physicians, pharmacists, and scientists
  • Experience representing portfolio scientifically and clinically as a subject matter expert
  • Willingness to relocate if required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams and initiatives related to assigned area
Desired Qualifications

  • SME for a particular disease area or assay(s)
  • Experience participating in high-visibility launches and peer-to-peer training for early adopter sites
  • Experience with on-site customer programs such as VIPs, Visiting Scientist Programs, and 360 views
  • Experience attending scientific congresses and driving education programs for launches
  • Experience in Roche Diagnostics portfolio and medical affairs alignment
