Responsibilities
  • System concept development
  • Elicitation and specification of functional requirements, and decomposition and traceability of those requirements
  • Performance analysis and specification
  • Architecture Trade Studies
  • Synthesize and extend architectures
  • Allocate functionality to components
  • Definition of interfaces, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Detailed Design Analysis; May also involve test design
  • Use modern model-based systems engineering approaches that make extensive use of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) skills; integrate M&S analysis models with descriptive models
  • Determine task schedules and levels of effort needed to meet program goals
  • Communicate technical capabilities and analyses with internal stakeholders and external customers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher with Special Program Access
  • Domain knowledge in RF sensors
  • OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) certification
  • Experience with Physics-based Model or Simulation Development
  • Experience with Multidisciplinary Design Analysis Optimization (MDAO)
  • Experience with Mission PLM
  • Experience with Digital Twin
  • Experience with Digital Ecosystems / Environments
  • Experience working in an Agile Development Environment
