NoahMed develops medical robotics systems for pulmonology, focusing on early diagnosis. Its flagship Galaxy System with TiLT+ Technology mitigates CT-to-body divergence to improve diagnostic yield and provides real-time navigation updates in all lung areas. It features an augmented fluoro overlay that guides locating non-visual lesions and a single-use bronchoscope with accessories to reduce cross-contamination and speed turnover, all in a compact, single-cart design for crowded operating rooms. The company differentiates itself through TiLT+ navigation, real-time augmented guidance, and a disposable—rather than reprocessed—bronchoscope setup, aiming to improve diagnostic confidence and efficiency. Its goal is to enhance early lung diagnosis with more reliable guidance, reducing procedure time and improving outcomes for patients in collaboration with interventional pulmonologists.

Noah Medical announces galaxy(tm) II.

Noah Medical announces galaxy(tm) II. 11th, August 2026 2 mins read Noah Medical has announced the commercial launch of the Galaxy II software, the next evolution of the company's robotic-assisted bronchoscopy (RAB) platform. The Galaxy II software gives physicians imaging flexibility and procedural control to take on their most complex cases with confidence, advancing what bronchoscopy can deliver across every dimension of the procedure. Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer death worldwide, and survival depends heavily on early diagnosis, making the ability to accurately biopsy small, hard-to-reach lung lesions one of the most consequential steps in a patient's path to treatment. At the center of the system is Dual-Mode Imaging, which lets physicians move seamlessly between Galaxy's High- Definition Digital Tomosynthesis (HD-DT) and Cone-Beam CT (CBCT) at any point in a procedure. HD-DT delivers efficiently and effectively across the vast majority of cases at a fraction of the radiation dose, while CBCT is available at the moment a case calls for more. The result puts the imaging decision where it belongs, in the physician's hands. "Galaxy II software puts physicians in control of their imaging strategy for every procedure," said Jian Zhang, founder and CEO of Noah Medical. "By bringing HD-DT, CBCT, and advanced robotic control together in one platform using the Galaxy II software, we let physicians choose what each case requires, enabling them to adapt to each patient's anatomy and reduce radiation exposure while maximizing procedural efficiency." Accurately reaching and sampling small pulmonary lesions remains difficult due to two persistent challenges: CT-to-Body Divergence, where the preoperative CT no longer matches the patient's anatomy during the procedure, and Tool-Tissue Divergence, where a biopsy tool drifts from its intended path even when the catheter is well positioned. Galaxy II software addresses both by uniting navigation, imaging, and real-time confirmation of the lesion and tool in a single platform. "The Galaxy System's unique ability to correct for tool-tissue divergence in real time drives its high diagnostic yield, giving physicians confidence that their biopsy tool is exactly where they intend it," said Dr. Francisco Almeida, Interventional Pulmonologist at City of Hope(R) Cancer Center Atlanta. "Galaxy II software builds on that foundation, enhancing navigation, imaging, and confirmation in a single platform. It puts the choice of imaging modality in the physician's hands, so procedures run more efficiently while also cutting the radiation burden on patients and clinicians."

Noah Medical launches Galaxy II software with dual-mode imaging for robotic bronchoscopy

Noah Medical has launched Galaxy II software for its robotic-assisted bronchoscopy platform. The system features Dual-Mode Imaging, allowing physicians to switch between High-Definition Digital Tomosynthesis and Cone-Beam CT during procedures. The technology addresses challenges in biopsying small lung lesions by combining navigation, imaging, and real-time confirmation in one platform. HD-DT provides imaging at up to 10 times lower radiation dose than CBCT for most cases, whilst CBCT remains available for complex procedures. The Galaxy System demonstrated 96.7% diagnostic yield in the multicentre MATCH II study and 90% yield in routine clinical practice at Cleveland Clinic across 100 consecutive patients. Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer death worldwide, with survival heavily dependent on early diagnosis.

Memorialcare Cancer Institute At Saddleback Medical Center Offers Next Generation Robotic Bronchoscopy For Early Diagnosis And Treatment Of Lung Cancer

MemorialCare Cancer Institute uses first-of-its-kind robotic navigated bronchoscopy for greater precision and accuracy.LAGUNA HILLS, Calif., Aug. 6, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- MemorialCare Cancer Institute's Lung Cancer Program at Saddleback Medical Center is one of just four hospitals in California equipped with the recently FDA-cleared robotic navigated bronchoscopy system. This new device from NoahMed, Galaxy System, uses integrated tomosynthesis (3D mammography) to navigate to and locate lung nodules, which are small masses in the lungs often tested for cancer. This improved visualization, along with a disposable bronchoscope, enhances precision and accuracy beyond the capabilities of existing technologies. It gives physicians access to often hard-to-reach lesions in the outer third of the lung which are often hard to biopsy. The Galaxy System can biopsy nodules smaller than 2cm, while receiving real-time lesion location updates."Lung cancer is an insidious disease causing far too high a toll on our communities," said Jayne Stewart, executive director, MemorialCare Cancer Institute, MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center. "The Galaxy System gives physicians trained on the device a clear, direct path to improving patient diagnosis and, in turn, treatment –allowing us to catch lung cancer before it reaches less treatable, advanced stages
