Electrical CAD Intern @ Milhouse Engineering and Construction

Salary Range: 20 to 25 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-hour-wage)

Our Power - CAD team is looking to add a new Electrical CAD Intern! The CAD Intern performs CAD and other project management functions with minimal management direction. Works with engineers and/or clients to resolve issues.

What you will do:

Performing complex CAD work.
Final quality control reviews.
Work with engineers and clients to resolve issues. 
Reading and understanding client standards and specifications, other project related documents and meeting their requirements. 
Data and document entry into various platforms. 
Scanning, copying, and filing documents. 
Reporting safety, health, and quality issues to management. 
Assist management on special projects as directed. 
Other duties as assigned.

Your background:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
Completion of two years or more of engineering classwork at an ABET accredited institution.

What we are looking for:

Strong academic background with coursework in power systems and control systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for contributing to the field of electrical engineering.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Prior internship or project experience related to power systems or electrical infrastructure is preferred but not required.
