Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in heavy manufacturing assembly or quality inspection
  • Experience using industry standard metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs, and optical comparators
  • Experience working and auditing to industry standards including ISO 9001 or equivalent, NADCAP, ASTM test standards, IPC 610/620/J-STD-001, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Candidates must not experience color vision deficiency or color blindness in order to evaluate color during the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
  • Perform measurements, tests, inspections, and audits to support product control plans at the Weirton, WV facility in your assigned area.
  • Input inspection results into our Quality Management System.
  • Assist with resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions
  • Provide feedback on quality procedures and tools to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Help maintain clean, organized inspection environments in our receiving area, metrology lab, and on the production floor.
  • Have an eye for quality and flag changes or concerning variations in materials.
  • Be a champion for safety in all of their work.
