Position Summary: As the Data Science & ML Prototyper Intern you will be closely working with the team with various on-going projects. The role is to help explore how we can better infuse our experience with the latest in state-of-the-art ML by building prototypes with creative techs in the team. The goal is to derive human-centered distinctive solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

Design and implement methods, processes, and systems to aggregate and analyze unstructured, diverse data sources to generate solutions for the concepts/prototypes
Integrate software and/or hardware components into an experience prototype
Design and develop software systems that utilize deep learning and related machine learning techniques in support of the concepts/prototypes

Required Skills:

Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program in Interaction Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
A hands-on approach to learning, thinking, and discovering through the act of prototyping
Passion and knowledge in some of following domains: generative artificial intelligence, affective computing, cognitive augmentation, digital personhood, or spatial computing
Comfortable with ambiguous and underdefined project briefs
Ability to think divergently, strategically and proactively
Familiarity with scientific methods, being able to design, analyze, and test systems and implementations with skills in statistical analysis, experiment design, and so on
Strong verbal and written communication skills to present insights on technology trends and opportunities to stakeholders and the business

The hourly pay rate range for roles at this level is listed below, but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Within the hourly pay rate range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.
