Juniper Square launches AI-powered fund admin oversight agent to cut financial review time by 80%

Juniper Square has launched Fay, an AI-powered Admin Oversight Agent that automatically reviews fund administrator deliverables for general partners. The tool runs over 150 accuracy and consistency checks across financial statements, partner capital account statements, and supporting documents, catching errors before they reach auditors or investors. The agent reduces financial statement review time by approximately 80% for CFOs and controllers. It uses AI to read documents and extract figures whilst running calculations through deterministic code, ensuring consistent mathematical accuracy. Juniper Square, which serves over 2,300 private markets GPs, initially developed the tool internally for its fund administration team overseeing more than $300 billion in assets. The Admin Oversight Agent works with any fund administrator and is available for purchase through Juniper Square's GPX platform, requiring no integration or data onboarding.

Nopalera raises $4M Series A to expand into Costco and scale retail presence

Nopalera, a brand founded by Sandra Velasquez, has raised $4 million in Series A funding led by Morgan Stanley's Next Level Fund and co-led by existing investor L'Attitude Ventures. Sixty8 Capital, Siddhi Capital, Portfolia and several other investors also participated. The company, which employs 17 people, doubled its revenue between 2024 and 2025. The funding will support retail expansion, including an upcoming collaboration with Costco, and product portfolio growth. Velasquez noted the investment will enable the company to strengthen its team and pursue retail opportunities that previously required significant capital and operational infrastructure. L'Attitude Ventures, which manages over $100 million in assets and focuses on Latinx entrepreneurs, previously led Nopalera's $2.7 million seed round in 2022.

Operations platform Juniper Square acquires Sightglass. The move will help investor relations teams automate diligence workflows and reduce response times. Published on Apr. 15, 2026 Rose Velazquez | Apr 15, 2026 Juniper Square, an operations platform serving general partners in private markets, recently announced its acquisition of Sightglass, a company automating due diligence questionnaires for investor relations teams. This platform integration will help teams unify their data across workflows and adopt purpose-built AI solutions. Sightglass will deploy its AI agents directly into Juniper Square's platform, streamlining the existing tools that help general partners with onboarding, compliance, treasury and reporting tasks. Its tools will facilitate automatic questionnaire injection, AI-generated first-draft completion, dynamic source modeling and cross-functional collaboration to help reduce response times while ensuring complete accuracy. As part of the acquisition, Sightglass' founder and CEO, Thomas Buley will join Juniper Square as the director of product management. "Joining Juniper Square is the natural next step to automate the most tedious parts of fund operations," Buley said in a statement. "The firms that win the next decade of fundraising will be those that leverage their own relationship history and data narrative to respond to LPs with unprecedented speed and accuracy."
