Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in new product introduction, procurement, material planning, or supply chain management within a global manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing multiple new product introduction programs and coordinating cross-functional activities from prototype through production launch.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, material planning, inventory management, supplier management, and supply chain risk mitigation.
  • Ability to analyze Bills of Material, engineering changes, and component lifecycle impacts to support material readiness and supply continuity.
  • Proficiency with enterprise resource planning and material requirements planning systems and Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and data management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate risks and recommend practical solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Independently own multiple MMIC new product introduction programs from prototype builds through production handoff.
  • Serve as the primary supply chain point of contact for assigned new product introduction programs.
  • Own end-to-end new product introduction procurement activities, including supplier selection support, purchase order execution, material planning, and critical material expediting.
  • Develop and execute material supply plans by balancing demand forecasts, supplier capacity, inventory levels, lead times, and project schedules.
  • Monitor inventory, material availability, and supply continuity while minimizing shortages, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
  • Assess supplier readiness and manufacturing capability to support prototype builds, qualification, and production launch.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance and coordinate recovery plans to mitigate schedule risks.
  • Develop and implement engineering storerooms to manage engineering parts and samples across multiple locations.
  • Drive cost control through price validation, variance analysis, and sourcing strategy alignment.
  • Identify material risks, including shortages, long lead times, supplier constraints, and capacity limitations, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Lead material phase-in and phase-out activities and evaluate supply-chain impacts of engineering changes, component obsolescence, and design updates.
  • Improve commonality and reuse of the existing component library.
  • Support supplier qualification, alternate-source implementation, and sourcing transitions to improve supply continuity and reduce business risks.
  • Lead supply-chain activities related to component lifecycle changes, including end-of-life, not recommended for new designs, engineering changes, alternate-source implementation, and design updates.
  • Develop and execute material phase-in and phase-out plans to minimize supply disruption and obsolete inventory.
  • Evaluate the supply-chain impact of engineering changes and coordinate implementation across Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, and suppliers.
  • Analyze Bills of Material to ensure material availability, identify supply risks, and support design changes.
  • Ensure continuity of supply throughout component and product lifecycle transitions.
  • Maintain data integrity across enterprise resource planning and planning systems, including item setup, Bills of Material, material requirements planning parameters, sourcing information, lead times, and planning master data.
  • Drive continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance new product introduction planning processes, system efficiency, material visibility, and launch readiness.
  • Promote material standardization and reusable supply-chain solutions to improve scalability and reduce lifecycle cost.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Business Units throughout the new product introduction lifecycle.
  • Represent Supply Chain in new product introduction reviews and executive discussions by communicating material readiness, project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Exercise independent judgment in resolving day-to-day new product introduction supply-chain issues and escalate strategic risks with recommended actions.
  • Monitor key supply-chain performance metrics and drive improvements in supplier performance, inventory health, launch readiness, and material availability.
  • Mentor and support junior buyers/planners on new product introduction processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Share knowledge, promote standard work, and contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives across the new product introduction Supply Chain organization.
  • Support manager-led initiatives and continuous-improvement efforts.
  • Travel occasionally, including some overnight travel, as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with planning and purchasing electronic components, including semiconductors, printed circuit boards, custom cable assemblies, connectors, enclosures, and other electronic commodities.
  • Working knowledge of component lifecycle management, including end-of-life, not recommended for new designs, alternate sourcing, and engineering change implementation.
  • APICS/ASCM certification, such as CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of wireless and radio frequency products and terminology.

Mini-Circuits Launches Wideband Digital Step Attenuator from 0.1 to 24 GHz

Mini-Circuits launches wideband digital step attenuator from 0.1 to 24 GHz. Mini-Circuits has introduced the ZX76-24G-30-S+, a 50 ohm coaxial solid-state digital step attenuator designed for wideband RF applications spanning 0.1 to 24 GHz. Engineered for precision and flexibility, the attenuator offers programmable attenuation from 0 to 31.5 dB in 0.5 dB steps, providing fine control over signal levels across a wide frequency range. The ZX76-24G-30-S+ features a 6-bit parallel control interface that requires no external clock and supports dual (+3.3 V / -3.0 V) or single-supply operation (+3.3 V to +5.4 V). Built for durability in demanding environments, it delivers high input IP3 performance of +50 dBm, good return loss (typical 15 dB), and glitch-free attenuation transitions, making it well-suited for test instrumentation, communication infrastructure, and defense applications such as radar, EW, ECM, and SATCOM systems. The device's robust design also ensures immunity to latch-up and stable operation from 0°C to +50°C, while supporting input power levels up to +22 dBm. It operates with an insertion loss as low as 3 dB (typically) up to 13 GHz and 4.5 dB (typically) up to 24 GHz. To simplify integration, Mini-Circuits includes a CBL-5FT-MPD+ pigtail control cable, featuring stripped wire ends and a pre-mounted connector for easy interface with the attenuator's 10-pin digital control port.
