Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of ten years of military operational and training experience.
  • A minimum of two years of Air Operations Center-specific experience with exposure to database and system administration.
  • A minimum of two years of information technology experience with Sun Fire 210 and Sun Enterprise hardware; TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP networks; Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP Professional, Windows 7, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and 2008, Microsoft SQL Server 2010, Solaris 10, DII COE 3.Z, Sybase, Windows XP Server, and UNIX Solaris operating systems.
  • Experience with Oracle, Sybase, Theater Battle Management Core System, Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer, SharePoint, Ghost, Air Operations Database, Modernized Integrated Database, WINZIP, WebLogic, Symantec Antivirus, Norton Antivirus, ORDBEX, Database Exchange, Hoblink, Network IP TBMCS Utility Configuration, and Master Air Attack Plan Toolkit.
  • The incumbent must achieve the appropriate Information Assurance certification within six months of assignment, subject to the stated DoD 8570.01-M waiver provisions.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer database system administration, installation, software program file upgrades, and configuration.
  • Assist 505th Communications Squadron system administrators with loading and configuring Theater Battle Management Core System software patches and Security Technical Implementation Guides, resetting system passwords, and performing other system administration tasks supporting the Air Operations Center Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer Scenario Development Effort.
  • Provide oversight of system performance, monitoring, and multi-server troubleshooting.
  • Conduct Oracle and Sybase database server management.
  • Conduct backup, recovery, and maintenance of Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer databases and software.
  • Conduct software file maintenance and programming updates to the computer-based Master Training Scenario Library on the PTT SIPRNET website.
  • Comply with government operational security, communications security, information assurance, and personnel security policies.
  • Submit system usage requests through the 505th Communications Squadron using the provided scheduling tool.
  • Conduct on-site system administration and assistance at approximately 10 Air Operations Center locations to support training scenario execution.
  • Test the Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer Master Scenario Event List for accuracy and ease of use.
