About the Team
You’ll play an integral role on the Credit Karma Money team, building and optimizing marketing and lifecycle communications that engage consumers and drive engagement. This person will build messaging templates using HTML/CSS, personalization languages, Automation workflows, and A/B testing to optimize the consumer journey across email, landing pages, push, etc.
What you’ll do:
- Design and build responsive, scalable templates across email, landing pages, push, sms through advanced HTML/CSS coding.
- Leverage front-end personalization languages (Liquid, Handlebars, etc) to personalize messages at a 1:1 level at scale.
- Design a scalable structure for maintaining uniquely personalized messages across millions of members.
- Partner with Growth Marketing, Product Management and Creative teams to ensure the successful launch of marketing templates and optimizations.
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years of experience of email marketing experience at a large consumer brand
- 5+ years of experience working with HTML/CSS and personalization languages (Liquid, Handlebars, etc) across email and landing pages.
- Experience applying consumer insights to improve the product and marketing experience.
- Experience collaborating and working with Growth Marketing, Data Analytics and Creative teams

Pay Transparency Notice: Credit Karma’s mission of championing financial progress for all starts from within. That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $137,571 to $154,100 plus equity and benefits.
