  • 5-8+ years of experience with C / C++
  • A strong understanding of Object-Oriented software development techniques
  • Experience developing high quality software
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate with developers, executive managers and external customers
  • Effective time-management, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility, accountability and passion about quality of work, desire to learn and take ownership
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux
  • Experience with Jenkins, CloudBees or other build server, preferred
  • Experience with Agile development practices, preferred
  • Experience with SQL Server or other databases, preferred

  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations for carrier-grade, highly-available services, preferred
  • Develop and test software in a Linux environment using C++ to implement telephony services
  • Utilize Git for version control
  • Work with continuous integration pipeline tools like Jenkins/CloudBees
  • Debug source code using GDB debugger
  • Perform inter-process communication using various methods including shared resources and communication protocols like TCP and UDP
  • Support scaled services architectures using multithreaded programming
  • Refactor existing code to enhance functionality and scaling
  • Utilize data structures and ensure data integrity in multi-threaded environments
  • Monitor performance of applications to ensure they meet required specifications
