Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Higher Education, Secondary Education, College Student Personnel, or a related field required
  • One to two years of experience in a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in administrative and computer systems
  • Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress or complex situations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, implement, and monitor accommodations and support services for students in alignment with applicable federal regulations, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Review documentation and determine appropriate, reasonable accommodations based on individual student needs
  • Meet with students to conduct intake, develop individualized support plans, and monitor progress toward academic and personal goals
  • Provide ongoing case management support that promotes student retention, persistence, and success
  • Serve as an advocate and liaison for students, supporting communication and collaboration with faculty, staff, and external partners
  • Support faculty in understanding and implementing accommodations and inclusive practices
  • Facilitate student access to campus and community resources, including basic needs support, mental health resources, and academic assistance
  • Assist students in developing self-advocacy skills and navigating institutional systems
  • Provide non-clinical crisis intervention and support for students experiencing personal or situational challenges
  • Collaborate with the Behavioral Intervention Team to support students of concern
  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes and documentation within electronic student record systems
  • Train and support students in the use of assistive technology and other accessibility tools
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community agencies and campus partners
  • Assist in the development and coordination of programs and initiatives that increase student access to resources
  • Support faculty and staff in identifying and responding to student needs
  • Contribute to the assessment, evaluation, and continuous improvement of programs and services through data collection and analysis
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered
