Requirements
  • Possess the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Demonstrate experience working within paraplanning and providing financial advisory solutions to clients.
  • Have proven experience in a paraplanning and client-facing advisory role.
  • Have experience building and maintaining excellent client and internal relationships.
  • Have experience using cash flow modelling tools and research tools.
  • Have excellent working knowledge of investment planning, pre-retirement and at-retirement planning, personal and business protection, and estate planning.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of Financial Conduct Authority conduct of business rules and suitability requirements.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Be able to work under pressure to deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be able to manage projects and take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and research skills.
  • Be able to interpret complex planning and explain it clearly and concisely to clients and in reports.
  • Be able to understand and interpret a cash flow forecast and summarise the key points.
  • Be able to calculate figures and compile data.
  • Be able to advise own clients without direct supervision.
  • Be prepared to continue studies toward Chartered Status if not currently held.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings.
  • Prepare suitability reports for non-complex advice.
  • Complete post-meeting actions including file notes, financial plans, and suitability reports.
  • Deliver financial plans and advice in accordance with Progeny's regulatory standards and rules.
  • Provide and implement suitable private client retail financial advice to meet agreed activity targets.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with clients and attend client social activities.
  • Develop appropriate technical and market awareness knowledge.
  • Create cash flow models as part of delivering financial planning advice.
  • Comply with compliance and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Complete Continuous Professional Development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs.
  • Adhere to the firm's certification regime and training and competence scheme requirements.
  • Adhere to the company's business principles, ethical standards, and treating customers fairly obligations.

Titan Wealth acquires Progeny International for $1.1B assets under advice

Titan Wealth has acquired Progeny International, the international division of Progeny Group, adding approximately £900 million in assets under advice and 13 financial advisers to its international business. Progeny International, formerly part of the Fry Group, operates in Belgium, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai International Financial Centre. The business provides tax-led financial advice to internationally mobile individuals, entrepreneurs and multi-generational families, specialising in cross-border financial planning and wealth structuring. The deal, subject to regulatory approval, forms part of Titan Wealth's long-term international expansion strategy. Andrew Fearon, joint group CEO at Titan Wealth, said the acquisition enhances the firm's global reach across leading wealth hubs. Progeny Group CEO Tom Wood said the sale allows the firm to focus resources on its core UK market.
