Requirements
  • 8+ years of content strategy and execution of full funnel B2B content journeys, including 5+ years of editorial oversight
  • Deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behaviors in the private funds industry (focus on legal and compliance personas preferred)
  • 4+ years of people management experience, including hiring and building out a team
  • Exceptional writing and editorial skills, and ability to write across a variety of formats including white papers, blog posts, emails, and direct response ads
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in leveraging data to create compelling narratives, as well as to drive decision-making; Ability to analyze data and create metrics to optimize content marketing initiatives
  • Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project; ensures content is error-free prior to submission
  • Strong internal communicator with excellent interpersonal skills who can properly navigate a diverse set of stakeholders–up, down, and across–all with their own priorities and initiatives
  • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions; copes effectively with complexity and change
  • Proactively monitors industry trends and contemplates how evolving market conditions impact our company and our customers, while continually expanding their understanding of the industry and applying learnings to content projects

Responsibilities
  • Act as our company champion for content marketing best practices and help formulate Ontra’s POV as an industry leader
  • Develop and execute on an ambitious and evolving content strategy. From that, craft actionable goals and create and maintain marketing editorial plans and thematic calendars
  • Lead as an exceptional player-coach, building and managing a content team, and event content marketers
  • Write high-quality, thought-provoking content in formats that engage our audiences including: case studies, e-books, blog posts, webinars, email copy, and more; Recommend different content types appropriate to associated channels to reach multiple personas
  • Work closely with marketing partners to develop a measurable and results-driven content distribution strategy including social / channel distribution; Work with regional marketers and leaders to execute an efficient localization strategy
  • Deeply understand our customers, personas, and the broader private markets industry; Stay on top of industry developments, news, and trends so that we publish content that resonates with Ontra target prospects and customers
  • Work closely with internal customer / industry subject matter experts (SMEs) to generate novel thought leadership
  • Measure, analyze, and report on content performance – inclusive of audits of existing content performance to refresh and adjust for emerging priorities
  • Develop and implement standards, systems, best practices, and templates for content, and continually raise the bar for the company’s editorial standards; Ensure all content adheres to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate existing content marketing tools and technology and identify potential for future upgrades

Ontra.ai automates legal processes for investment firms using AI technology, serving over 600 clients including Blackstone and AllianceBernstein. Its software streamlines the intake, negotiation, and execution of routine contracts like Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) through a network of freelance legal professionals. This allows legal teams to focus on more strategic work while ensuring compliance with contract obligations. Ontra's deep understanding of private markets and tailored solutions differentiate it from competitors, with the goal of transforming legal workflows throughout the fund lifecycle.
