Requirements
  • Eight or more years of experience in business systems, revenue operations, or information technology, including ownership of a customer relationship management system at a growing company.
  • Deep Salesforce experience with configuration, objects, permissions, flows, and reporting.
  • Experience building and maintaining system integrations, including application programming interfaces, middleware, error handling, and synchronization failures.
  • Experience leading at least a small team and hiring for it.
  • Experience implementing a system across multiple locations, including managing user resistance and adoption.
  • Ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to a chief executive officer.
  • A considered point of view on the appropriate use of artificial intelligence in an operating business, including where it should not be used.
  • Experience establishing governance for intake, prioritization, and shared definitions across functions that do not report to the role.
Responsibilities
  • Own the customer relationship management system, in-home sales platform, project management system, integrations, and standards for artificial intelligence use in governed systems and tooling.
  • Configure and govern i360, including permissions, territories, lead sources, product setup, and the governed data layer used for business reporting.
  • Own pricing configuration in Leap / SalesPro so approved pricing, discount thresholds, and approval rules are enforced by the system.
  • Select, implement, and roll out a greenfield enterprise project management platform across markets for launches, cross-functional projects, and system rollouts.
  • Own how the wider technology stack connects and whether data agrees across Rippling, Sage, Ramp, Google Workspace, and growth tooling.
  • Own integrations from lead through appointment, contract, job, and invoice so data has consistent definitions across systems.
  • Define shared data and reporting definitions and resolve discrepancies between Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Design the systems stack so new markets and brands can be added through configuration rather than bespoke projects.
  • Own the configured systems, routing, territories, pricing, compensation, and reporting stack used to launch new markets and brands.
  • Author and maintain company standards for artificial intelligence use, including appropriate use cases, prohibited use cases, data handling, and output quality.
  • Identify artificial intelligence applications that genuinely remove work and defend recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Train employees on the artificial intelligence standard, monitor adherence, and surface policy drift to the executive team.
  • Lead the Salesforce Administrator and Growth Specialist, Integrations, and build the function as the company scales.
  • Decide what the function builds, buys, or delegates to partners.
  • Run a centralized intake queue for requests from Sales, Operations, Finance, and Growth, prioritized through a cross-functional council.
  • Baseline measures including market-launch time, reporting integrity, intake cycle time, tool count and spend, and adoption.
  • Map the systems stack, identify fragility, duplication, and unnecessary cost, and recommend a project management system.
  • Launch the project management system in at least one market and document inherited integrations.
  • Ensure the artificial intelligence standard is established and employees are trained on it.
  • Make market launches configuration-based, ensure Sales, Finance, and Operations use consistent reporting, grow the team, and hire effectively.
  • Make architecture decisions as the company's most senior systems leader and report to the Chief Growth Officer.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in home services, home improvement, trades, or another multi-site field operation.
  • Experience with i360 / improveit 360, Leap, or a comparable field-sales platform.
  • Experience working in a private-equity-backed business and its reporting cadence.
  • Experience being the first systems hire at a company.
