Cost and Quality Specialist

Position Summary:
The Supplier Communication Lead – Molding Technologies manages daily communication between Xometry and suppliers, ensuring accurate quotations, quality, timing, and pricing. The role supports Sales and Engineering teams, grows the partner network, and improves procurement processes. Fluency in English and Chinese and strong attention to detail are required.

Functional Responsibilities

• Lead communication between Xometry and production suppliers in molding technologies.
• Collect, analyze, and review supplier quotations daily, covering pricing, lead time, and technical details.
• Coordinate with molding engineers to verify quotations.
• Communicate daily with the Xometry Sales Team and take corrective actions on quotations as needed.
• Support communication between Xometry engineers and suppliers regarding Quality, Timing, and Pricing.
• Expand the partner network within target regions according to existing processes.
• Implement required changes in company processes to achieve partner network growth.
• Continuously improve and optimize processes impacting the pricing workflow.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Chinese for daily video/phone communication. Additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of doing business with China.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Prior procurement experience is a plus.
• Engineering background is a plus.
