Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Three to five years of relevant work experience are required.
  • At least two years of financial and sales experience are required.
  • At least two years of cash-handling experience are required.
  • Notary, Medallion, and NMLS certifications or licenses are required.
  • Experience with Episys, Springboard, and Verafin is required.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office is required.
  • The ability to provide excellent member service and communicate verbally and in writing is required.
  • Initiative, teamwork, conflict-resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are required.
  • The ability to work shifts, including weekends and hours outside the 8–5 schedule, is required.
  • The role requires the ability to follow detailed instructions, exercise judgment, and address problems involving a few variables.
  • The role requires the ability to move in different positions in tight spaces, sit or stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 15 pounds occasionally, perform repetitive hand and finger motions, communicate clearly and quickly, hear average conversations, and visually assess documents or operate machinery.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and build a network of member contacts through qualified leads, referrals, outbound calls, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Deliver member service while ensuring needs are met and commitments are honored.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, check cashing, and other financial transactions.
  • Promote and cross-sell additional products and services to deepen member relationships and improve profitability.
  • Identify and respond to changes in members’ financial needs.
  • Process consumer loans while maintaining quality and compliance, and mentor peers in best practices.
  • Open new memberships and accounts, including individual retirement accounts, checking, savings, and certificates.
  • Ensure documents meet quality-control and regulatory standards, including Customer Identification Program, Office of Foreign Assets Control, and ChexSystems requirements.
  • Support operational processes such as IVP and suggest process improvements.
  • Educate members about digital banking services and support technology adoption.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including vault and alarm duties.
  • Complete the IVP report and support operations by anticipating issues and communicating clearly with the manager.
  • Mentor and support Member Experience Professionals.
  • Provide instruction on policies, procedures, and service and product offerings.
  • Assist with performance tracking and reviews.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • At least one year of leadership-role experience is preferred.
  • There is potential to receive training in mortgage transactions.
