Requirements
  • 5-8+ years of experience in strategy, pipeline development, sales, front-end customer engagement, capture, and proposal development
  • Maintains existing network of Federal customer contacts and emerging and established 8(a) and small business network
  • Proven record of success leading teams in winning new 8(a) and small business opportunities
  • Must have experience with federal proposals and understand complex RFQ/RFP compliance requirements.
  • Networked in related organizations (e.g., ACT-IAC, AFCEA, etc.); active role preferred (e.g., leadership positions, panelist engagements, etc)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical, business, or related discipline
  • Must have experience in and knowledge of federal management consulting space.
Responsibilities
  • Think above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities to understand broader growth strategy
  • Apply understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and industry best practices
  • Understand overall government and individual agency vehicle / acquisition methods and strategically build strategic teaming alliances
  • Understand the company quarterly and annual revenue targets and develop the growth strategy to meet them
  • Own full spectrum business development, capture, and proposal activities from inception to completion
  • Perform opportunity and partner research
  • Manage opportunity identification and pursuit
  • Manage client relationships and call planning to understand business needs, observe and interview, forge deep connections, analyze competitors and trends, and position PBG
  • Translate technical concepts, hot buttons, and win strategies into white papers, market research
  • Own bid related proposal activities (writing, coordinating with proposal team)
  • Collaborate with growth leadership to execute business development strategy
  • Participate in targeted seminars, conferences, and forums to engage key customers and partners
  • Develop targeted client thought leadership campaigns and marketing activities
