Your Impact
As a Director on the Global Operations & Strategy team at Axon, you will be directly involved in ensuring Axon products make it into the hands of its international customers efficiently and effectively via various growth initiatives. These initiatives include but are not limited to the following: building & scaling an international M&A growth strategy, digital transformation, and TASER transformation. By taking the lead on these transformational projects for the international business, you will help us expedite growth & product penetration in our 3 core markets: EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. The team will rely on you to collaborate cross-functionally, achieve alignment, and execute at a high level in order to achieve outsized impact for Axon and our international customers!
What You’ll Do
Location: Remotely from the U.S.or onsite at our Scottsdale, AZ office 2 days a week, and on the road 5 - 10% of time; open to employment in the UK and Europe also (benefit adjustments apply).
Reports to: Jessica Duncan / Mike Gugino
Direct Reports: 1-2 Analysts
- Identify & analyze international inorganic growth opportunities / partnerships in conjunction with Axon’s Corporate Development Team out of Seattle, WA
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in order to scale the system of identifying, analyzing and executing on international growth opportunities / partnerships
- Drive improved execution of day-to-day business operations across a variety of international job functions
- Create and analyze reports to better track & evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to inorganic opportunities / partnerships as well as international day-to-day operations
- Perform in-depth analysis in order to maximize the impact of capital allocation pertaining to digital & TASER transformation initiatives
- Leverage data / research and conduct conversations with Country Managers to help inform current / future strategy for both sales & product
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience
- Previous experience in professional services (investment banking or consulting) or corporate strategy / operations at a high-growth technology company preferred
- Ability to synthesize and simplify complex data and quantitative findings into meaningful business recommendations that drive financial and operational performance
- Technical experience using any combination of PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau, Salesforce
- A “self-starter”, inquisitive, with a collaborative, can-do mindset

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 120,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 150,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
