Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Clear interest in the field of vibration
  • Good technical knowledge of the product (engines)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of computers (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Finite Element tools (Nastran, ANSYS)
  • Very good knowledge of English to read and understand documentation and technical terms from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
Responsibilities
  • Perform finite element analysis of the shaft-housing systems and continue until these systems are integrated into the aircraft system
  • Define test requirements, support these tests and analyze test data, and document the above in a memorandum or certification reports
  • Troubleshoot vibration issues for production and customers
  • Support the integration of external components and accessories into the engine system
  • Work on a computer modeling dynamic systems
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create new designs
  • Collaborate with Customer Services to resolve in-service issues
  • Write reports and present work results to groups of engineers.
