Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational management or related field.
  • 5+ years experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • 5+ years experience with a national or global corporation.
  • 5+ years manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
  • Provides HR assistance to assigned business unit(s) or function unit(s) to ensure customer requests and needs are met in a timely basis.
  • Improves business or function unit performance by serving as main point of contact, partnering with management and associates to identify and clarify problems, evaluating and recommending potential solutions, implementing selected solutions and mentoring managers and associates.
  • Administers, interprets and explains routine and moderate human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends in order to support the development of solutions, programs and policies.
  • Anticipates and plans for short-term human resource needs and trends with management.
  • Supports strong associate relations for the Company by gathering information from associates and managers during fact finding conversations to make recommendations for coaching and discipline with associates.
  • May serve as point of contact for Human Resources managers and associates that belong to another HR functional group and support with data collection, program coordination and administration, analysis and recommendations specific to location.
  • Represents management and associate perspective and provides recommendations to functional groups on Company policies for improvements.
  • Fosters company culture through coordinating activities, events and other programs.
  • Completes assigned tasks related to group projects, and may play a lead role in some projects.
  • Mentors less experienced colleagues to support their development and advancement along with participating in improving function standards and efficiencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • 7+ years experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • 7+ years experience at an OEM or Tier 1 Supplier.
  • Demonstrated experience with positive employee relations, administering discipline and performance improvement.
  • Experience with Talent Management processes (e.g. talent review, performance management, succession planning, career development and training).
  • Six Sigma certification and/or PDCA experience highly desirable.

Denso Announces Third Quarter Financial Results

KARIYA, Japan, Jan. 31, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- DENSO, a leading mobility supplier, today announced global financial results for the third quarter, ending December 31, 2024, of its fiscal year, ending March 31, 2025: Consolidated revenue totaled 5288,4 billion yen (US$33.5 billion), a 1.2 percent decrease from the previous year. Consolidated operating profit totaled 401.6 billion yen (US$2.5 billion), a 68.3 percent increase from the previous year. Consolidated profit attributable to owners of the parent company totaled 312.7 billion yen (US$2.0 billion), a 78.1 percent increase from the previous year."Revenue in the third quarter decreased compared to the previous year, due in part to lower vehicle production volumes in Asia and suspensions of operations by Japanese customers, though slowing yen depreciation supported our overall performance.
