Requirements
  • Equivalent construction work experience, ideally in the solar industry.

Responsibilities
  • Support project managers on a variety of technical, commercial, and logistical tasks, including permitting, RFI's, technical assessment, customer interaction, and utility coordination.
  • Prepare AHJ permit packages and manage the permitting process; prepare bid documents and manage subcontractor bid/buy-out process and assist in any subcontractor invoicing questions/issues.
  • Coordinate compliance of administrative and accounting requirements in subcontracts and maintain up-to-date records, assisting PM with the bid process as needed.
  • Manage Subcontractor folders for projects.
  • Coordinate Building Permit submittal packages and submit Building permit application packages to AHJ when needed.
  • Manage RFI’s through the engineering team by entering RFI requests into the appropriate software (Procore) working with PM to provide specific information that will need to be included in the request.
  • Manage all subcontractor submittals through the designated approval process. Coordinate with PM to update major equipment delivery dates and follow up with vendors/procurement regarding delivery dates.
  • Provide feedback/updates on any outstanding punch items generated by the QA/QC team.
  • Support department improvements and Regional Director initiatives and provide suggestions and feedback for potential areas of improvement.
