- Prior experience in recreational therapy, preferably with seniors experiencing dementia or cognitive limitations.
- A strong understanding of dementia and cognitive impairment care strategies.

- Motivate and inspire residents to participate actively in daily activities, promoting socialization and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with care staff to ensure activities align with individual care plans and resident needs.
- Monitor and document residents’ responses to activities, adjusting approaches as necessary.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all residents during activities.
- Additional certifications in recreational therapy or related fields.
