About the role

Ruby Labs seeks a detail-oriented Project Owner to ensure flawless execution of product initiatives. You'll be responsible for transforming strategic directives from the Head of Product into executable tasks, managing the development process, and guaranteeing exceptional implementation quality.

This role offers significant impact through execution excellence: driving development teams to deliver high-quality features on time, maintaining meticulous attention to detail, and serving as the final quality gatekeeper before production release.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform product requirements from Head of Product into detailed, actionable tasks in Plane.so.

• Maintain and prioritize the development backlog to ensure efficient team workflow.

• Drive development teams to meet established deadlines without compromising quality.

• Perform thorough quality assurance on all completed work before production release.

• Serve as the final responsible person for implementation quality and feature completeness.

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the development process proactively.

• Coordinate cross-functional resources needed for successful implementation.

• Document requirements, processes, and implementation details with exceptional clarity.

• Manage feature launch processes, including testing, deployment, and rollback plans.

• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders with precise progress metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project management or similar execution-focused roles in software development.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on schedule.

• Experience conducting thorough QA and establishing quality standards.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.

• Strong technical understanding to effectively communicate with development teams.

• Experience with project management tools (specifically Plane.so or similar).

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies.

• Excellence in written and verbal communication, particularly for technical specifications.

• Ability to push back appropriately when quality would be compromised.

Nice to have

• Experience working in subscription-based digital products.

• Background in EdTech or assessment products.

• Familiarity with component-based UI systems.

• Experience with A/B testing implementations.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
