Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales goals and market-share targets in the assigned territory through developing, maintaining, and enhancing key customer relationships while following regulatory and promotional guidelines.
  • Communicate appropriate technical, therapeutic, disease-state, and product information to customers to promote appropriate on-label use of approved products.
  • Use selling techniques and marketing strategies to create and expand demand for promoted brands.
  • Develop and coordinate physician advocates for promoted oncology products.
  • Arrange and coordinate promotional programs within promotional and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct field activities including lunch-and-learns, customer in-services, and tumor boards.
  • Serve as a resource for oncology organizations, teaching institutions, physicians, oncology nurses, pharmacy directors, therapeutic groups, and related customers.
  • Communicate regularly with the Regional Sales Director, peers, Account Managers, internal and external partners, and clients to optimize resources and exceed customer expectations.
  • Comply with OIG, pharmaceutical, and corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Complete expense reports and other required administrative reports accurately and on time according to corporate policies.
  • Attend training programs, conventions, and symposiums.
  • Complete and maintain territory analyses, including monthly forecasts, patient trackers, and call metrics.
  • Present and demonstrate the ability to attain and exceed sales goals and execute the complete sales process.
  • Manage the territory to achieve sales targets while staying within approved budgets.
Desired Qualifications
  • A major in Biological Science and/or Chemistry is preferred.
  • At least three current years of selling experience in the Oncology, Immunology, Hematology, or Rare Disease therapeutic market is preferred.
  • Oncology registered nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, or equivalent candidates may apply.
