Requirements
- Experience in automotive title and licensing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Up-to-date knowledge of state title regulations and processes.
- Strong compliance discipline.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Process retail, lease, and wholesale title documentation.
- Ensure lien perfection within required timeframes.
- Submit DMV paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain title logs and aging reports.
- Coordinate with finance and insurance and sales teams to resolve documentation issues.
- Maintain compliance with state and lender requirements.
- Process and submit title and license applications for sold vehicles in compliance with state regulations.
- Verify and enter vehicle title information into the dealership system.
- Coordinate the timely release of titles and license plates to customers.
- Manage daily processing of payoffs, dealer trades, and wholesale transactions.
- Communicate with customers, financial institutions, and state agencies regarding titling and registration issues.
- Track and resolve title-related discrepancies.
- Organize and accurately file paperwork to keep records up to date.
- Assist with other administrative tasks within the office.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior dealership experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with dealership management systems is a plus.
