Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be comfortable operating all vehicles at the Reconditioning Center.
  • Must be able to perform inspections and maintain detailed, accurate records of vehicle condition.
  • Must be familiar with company standards and ensure each vehicle meets cosmetic standards.
  • Must practice workplace safety to eliminate hazards to self and team members.
  • Must be able to work with management and team members to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair costs and overall vehicle quality.
  • Must have the visual acuity and manual dexterity to consistently operate vehicles and other productivity machinery, including heavy equipment and power tools.
  • Must be able to move objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
  • Must be able to work in various positions and environments, including tight spaces underneath vehicles.
  • Must be able to communicate in English to exchange accurate information and perform effectively in a safety-sensitive technical environment.
  • Must complete the background and drug screening process.
  • Must work in a drug-free and tobacco-free workplace.
Responsibilities
  • Track and monitor the maintenance of DriveTime vehicles.
  • Inspect vehicles and work with management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair costs and overall vehicle quality.
  • Inspect vehicles for cosmetic standards.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Prepare and move vehicles throughout the distribution process for retail.
  • Record the daily inventory of vehicles arriving from auctions.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized to prevent spills and hazards.
  • Frequently move throughout the workplace to access machinery, vehicles, and other equipment.
  • Communicate with internal customers as needed.
  • Work in environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, or wet and may contain fumes or odors from vehicle maintenance.
