Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of relevant business experience, including experience in a product manager, product owner, or similar role.
  • Understanding of iterative development fundamentals and software development processes and procedures.
  • Expertise in Agile Product Management, stakeholder management, market and user research, technology management, and process design.
  • A high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of new technology and trends.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills across all organizational levels, with strong facilitation and executive communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Own the long-term product roadmap as part of a larger business strategy and develop product strategy through analysis of personas, use cases, customer benefits, and solution value propositions.
  • Ensure business strategies are executed through product roadmaps iteratively and consistently.
  • Lead team collaboration to manage and prioritize product roadmaps and releases across multiple products.
  • Collaborate to resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Ensure product teams understand required business outcomes and connect those outcomes to broader business goals or objectives.
  • Identify and track evergreen key performance indicators and objectives to monitor product health and drive measurable improvements to user experiences and outcomes.
  • Facilitate conversations and coach product teams and stakeholders to address gaps and improve delivery of specific improvements.
  • Ensure key performance indicators deliver the necessary business value.
  • Ensure roadmap outcomes fit capacity constraints and are prioritized and sequenced to maximize customer value.
  • Engage regularly with customers and users to uncover needs and translate them into product hypotheses that are tested and refined to deliver solutions.
  • Collaborate across product teams to develop and roll out operational plans.
  • Research and identify industry best practices and trends to increase effectiveness.
  • Acquire, maintain, and apply advanced knowledge of the business, its products, processes, and the academic principles of Product Management.
  • Recruit, develop, and sustain a high-performing team while promoting shared accountability, operational excellence, and organizational partnership.
  • Model the organization’s leadership competencies: Model the Way, Rally the Team, and Deliver Outcomes.
  • Support and/or develop an environment focused on continuous improvement, employee engagement, and commitment to clients; shape and/or support a culture aligned with the organization’s purpose, promise, and values.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Product Manager or similar certification.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Ability to effectively manage and resolve conflicting priorities.
  • Experience developing and delivering product strategy articulated in terms of value and outcomes with relevant and compelling metrics and measurements.
  • Expertise with foundational product management tools, techniques, and principles across the discovery, design, build, release, and measure cycle.
  • Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience with user interface design and usability best practices.
  • Experience working in large, complex organizational initiatives.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage finances, administer budgets across multiple products, and ensure products meet return-on-investment requirements.
