Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • One to three years of experience in technical support is required.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues is required.
  • Experience working with APIs and databases is required, including using them to resolve technical issues.
  • Technical experience with spreadsheets, business intelligence tools, and databases is required.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • The candidate must demonstrate problem-solving, time management, prioritization, research, and analytical abilities.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently, multitask, and collaborate as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound client service requests, focusing on Structured Investments offerings.
  • Perform initial triage of support requests, resolving them or escalating them to the appropriate secondary Support team.
  • Maintain accurate records of troubleshooting steps and document knowledgebase articles in the customer relationship management system.
  • Communicate with Client Sales teams about new technical issues and explain resolutions.
  • Use technical tools for API, database, and data retrieval troubleshooting.
  • Help streamline support processes and develop methods for issue tracking.
  • Take initiative on assigned support requests and collaborate with engineers from multiple teams to solve problems.
  • Educate internal departments about best practices for resolving technical issues.
  • Participate in event-driven initiatives related to rolling out new system capabilities and functionality.
  • Synthesize customer feedback and collaborate with other departments to optimize the user experience.
  • Create documentation for new product solutions and enhancements to existing technology, and produce resources that help staff determine technical issues.
  • Assist with quality-control efforts related to biweekly platform-enhancement releases
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Amazon Web Services or Azure.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for securing data and systems.
  • Familiarity with alternative investments and financial technology.
