Get to Know the Opportunity:    

The Associate Analyst primary function centers on providing portfolio analytics support and customized analytical solutions to Portfolio Management, Risk Management, and Asset Managers. Please Note: This position has been designated as a hybrid-office/home role. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager.

The Contributions You’ll Make:

• Interact with all desks to deliver analytical solutions using BlackRock Solutions’ Aladdin investment management platform, internal databases and WebFOCUS.

• Investigate data quality issues affecting analytics and risk metrics; coordinate corrective actions with other departments as required.

• Assist in production of bespoke reports, including various data requests involving client requests and RFPs.

• Support set-up of portfolios and benchmarks on Aladdin.

• Assist with further development and implementation of the Aladdin platform.

• Assist with various monthly reports and ad hoc analysis.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:   

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, quantitative analysis, mathematics, statistics, or accounting.

• Highly results-oriented with ability to work under strict deadlines, meet deadlines, and maintain focus.

• Attention to detail, interest in problem solving with numbers and eager to understand ‘Why?’ and ‘How?’.

• Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the investment industry.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and knowledge of SQL and VBA a plus.

• Strong interpersonal skills – as this individual will interact with many different parts of the Voya organization.

• Strong oral and written communication skills including experience in effectively communicating with employees, colleagues, and executives.

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The pay range is $20 to $23 per hour. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
