  • 3+ years of mechanical design experience with at least 1 year of chassis or body structure experience.
  • Proficiency in design using CAD tools such as CATIA V6 or CATIA V5 and experience with 2D drawings, including GD&T.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Master's or PhD is a plus).
  • Experience in vehicle engineering, chassis systems design, and component delivery.
  • Understanding of hydraulic systems, sealing systems, electrical systems, and system architecture.
  • Strong communication skills with peers, management, manufacturing, and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of automotive program development/release process and long-term schedule planning.
Responsibilities
  • Designing the chassis system using CAD tools.
  • Focusing on stamped and casted parts related to chassis development.
  • Evaluating static, dynamic, structural, and thermal-mechanical performances of mechanical assemblies.
  • Conducting component testing and characterization, including developing innovative test methods and data analysis.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to manage designs, design documents, and ensure component deliveries.
  • Working with various teams for manufacturing, assembly, and operation.
