Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-5 years relevant experience in multi site management role preferred
  • Licensed Optician preferred but not required
  • Age – 16 or older
Responsibilities
  • Develop business cases and execute operational improvement programs to enhance the performance of the optical business
  • Work with senior leadership to establish key priorities and operational initiatives
  • Communicate with peers, partners, and stakeholders to deliver optimal market processes and procedures
  • Conduct monthly P&L reviews and share results with cross-functional teams
  • Act as a business subject matter expert across various stakeholder groups
  • Provide leadership and direction, setting clear expectations for operational processes
  • Establish targets and KPIs, ensuring P&L performance meets or exceeds expectations
  • Collaborate with teams on workforce planning strategies
  • Work with finance to inform the SG&A budget and manage supplies, contracts, and vendor relationships
  • Build relationships with optometrists and schools of optometry to support recruitment and onboarding efforts
  • Oversee dotted line supervision, coaching, and performance management within the region
  • Monitor performance and provide indirect coaching of Vision Centre Managers
