Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Seven to ten or more years of progressive finance experience, including significant financial planning and analysis responsibility, is required.
  • Prior experience partnering closely with Accounting or Controller functions and business leaders is required.
  • Deep expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and modeling is required.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems is required.
  • The ability to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-level insights is required.
  • The ability to influence through indirect reporting lines and handle sensitive and confidential information is required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team, providing actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Lead enterprise-wide financial planning activities, including annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts.
  • Translate business strategy into financial models, scenarios, and performance metrics.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, pricing strategies, and major business initiatives with robust financial analysis.
  • Set the vision, standards, and cadence for financial planning and analysis processes, tools, and deliverables.
  • Ensure high-quality financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses across all business units.
  • Review and challenge assumptions, risks, and opportunities within forecasts and business cases.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting, analytics, and decision-support capabilities.
  • Partner with leaders across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Research and Development, Human Resources, and Supply Chain to drive financial discipline and performance.
  • Partner with business unit finance leads on key financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Provide financial insights on cost management, margin improvement, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Oversee the finance function and integrate forward-looking financial planning with historical financial reporting.
Desired Qualifications
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, medical device, or global or multi-entity environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools is preferred.
  • A Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant credential is preferred.
