Requirements
  • Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance and Sentinel Special Program Access (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 8 years of related experience; Master’s degree with 6 years of experience; PhD with 4 years; or a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Requires a minimum 3 years of experience in a formal management position
  • Requires a minimum 3 years in a formal lead and/or management position working proposals
  • Requires a minimum 1 year supporting capture activities prior to pre-proposal planning
  • Requires a minimum 1 year of experience managing RFIs, ROMs and/or Proposals of $100M in value or greater
Responsibilities
  • Leads capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business
  • Develops capture strategy including business solution for pursuit of opportunities; identifies potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win; participates in bid and proposal activities
  • Maintains on-going interaction with marketing
  • Works with functional management teams within the division and sector to problem solve, improve process efficiencies, and develop innovative solutions for the division
  • Oversee the management, training, and professional development of junior level employees as needed
  • Oversee lower-level managers as needed
  • 10% travel requirement to meet business needs
Desired Qualifications
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret with TS/SCI security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
  • 10+ years direct experience working on competitive and sole source RFIs, ROMs, and Proposals, including Cost Plus and Fixed Price, for U.S. Government customers
  • Experience with working early technology maturation, Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) and Production phase proposals
  • Experience with DoD and/or U.S. Government customers and proposals
  • Experience training, leading, and directing activities of team members through execution of a formal proposal process
