Requirements
- A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
- Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is required.
- Ability to work and commute in and around the Carmel Valley and Pebble Beach areas is required.
- Ability to pass a background check under state industry standards is required.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, email, and basic data entry, is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to different client needs is required.
- Ability to work independently in one-on-one client settings is required.
Responsibilities
- Coach clients in independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and hygiene.
- Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
- Plan, create, and organize weekly goals and schedules tailored to clients.
- Document client progress consistently through case notes and quarterly reports.
- Spend approximately 90% of working time in the field with clients and 10% on administrative work and documentation.
- Collaborate with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff.
Desired Qualifications
- Behavioral health experience is preferred but not required.
