  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years related experience in marketing
  • 3+ years agency experience preferred
  • An entrepreneurial attitude. Pro-active thinking. Ability to drive thoughtful dialog, own a room and roll with the punches
  • This Director needs to be a master tactician but a big thinker as well – both skills are necessary and required for the role
  • Strong integrated marketing skills – understanding of how to drive strategy development through creative concepting and on to event/program execution
  • Strong digital and social media skills – understanding of digital ecosystem
  • Successful and resourceful client manager with an ability to build relationships and business effectively
  • Keen ability to identify opportunities and resolve challenges
  • Previous experience guiding integrated multi-disciplinary teams to meet client goals – successful with time management and clear delegation
  • Experience managing/training/mentoring more junior team members
  • Experience building and managing budgets
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently between accounts and projects
Responsibilities
  • Contributing to the conceptualization of marketing programs and activation ideas with ability to nurture unique and creative ideas for projects
  • Developing rapport with clients and their other agency partners through providing day-to-day client contact, managing the relationship & expectations, and troubleshooting conflicts with senior clients and team members as they arise
  • Developing and managing client business as an integral member of the team with the agency and the client
  • Guiding the team in identifying opportunities, providing strategic thinking and subsequent development of integrated marketing programs across client verticals.
  • On-strategy project planning and execution according to Agency standards within established budgets and timeframes
  • Building, managing and reconciling event and program budgets in accordance with Agency policy and procedure while also developing staffing plans supporting the business
  • Attaining annual revenue and contribution margin targets.
  • Researching and developing all key performance indicators and program metrics
  • Demonstrating passion for the best creative product
  • Developing and delivering compelling client and new business presentations
  • Active in managing progressive experiences and continuing education/training in handling broader aspects of project management
  • Demonstrating working knowledge of Momentum’s core disciplines and being proactive in growing client business across the agency
  • Partnering with account, strategy, digital, and creative team(s) within agency and the client in developing, pitching and managing client business
  • Leading Integrated Agency Teams across larger programs ensuring all teams are working together against deadlines and within budget to ultimately deliver the best results for clients
  • Manage and mentor direct report(s); fostering an environment of mutual respect and partnership, strategic thinking, appropriate risk taking, open lines of communication, on-going performance feedback, professional development and adherence to agency policy.
  • All other duties as assigned
