Requirements

Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience
Active IAT II and IAT CSSP Infrastructure certification or equivalent
Hands-on experience with Enterprise Search Application development (Elastic, Solr)
Software development in classified environments using Linux
Application development and configuration management utilizing CI/CD tools and IDE
Programming Languages (Powershell/Bash, Java/Python)
Experience with developing, securing, and delivering hardware and software updates
Demonstrated technical writing
Agile development experience
Understanding of Agile development tools (Jira, Confluence, etc)
AWS or other Cloud certifications
Linux Systems administration or Systems Engineering experience
Experience supporting full lifecycle A&A process for classified DoD or IC infrastructure and application service delivery

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver new capabilities
Support existing infrastructure and applications
Add new data sources to secure mission systems
Database management
Install, configure, load-balance, allocate storage, validate documentation, and automate operations in Cloud and Linux based environment
System-level integration of software and hardware components
Development of test data and system testing and documentation
Designing, coding, testing, and documenting new systems or enhancements to existing systems
Enterprise Search Application development (Elastic, Solr)

Description of Task to be Performed:

The Software Engineer will develop and deliver new capabilities, support existing infrastructure and applications, and add new data sources to secure mission systems. Representative responsibilities include database management, install, configure, load-balance, allocate storage, validate documentation, and automate operations in Cloud and Linux based environment.

- System-level integration of software and hardware components to verify and build system components to customer requirements in test and production environment.

- Development of test data and system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development lifecycle.

- Designing, coding, testing and documenting new systems or enhancements to existing systems.

- Enterprise Search Application development (Elastic, Solr), including data mappings and data pipeline management

Required Qualifications:

Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience related to specific functional area.
Certifications: Active IAT II and IAT CSSP Infrastructure certification or equivalent (CompTIA CySA+) by program onboarding date.
The following individual certifications cover both certification requirements for this program: CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst, CySA+; EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND); GlAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional, GICSP; (ISC)2 System Security Certified Practitioner (SCCP).
Hands-on experience and knowledge with the following:
Enterprise Search Application development (Elastic, Solr), including data mappings and data pipeline management
Software development in classified environments using Linux.
Application development and configuration management utilizing CI/CD tools and IDE
Programming Languages (Powershell/Bash, Java/Python)
Experience with developing, securing and delivering hardware and software updates and enhancements through testing, security assessment and authorization, and production readiness reviews.
Demonstrated technical writing.
Must demonstrate strong teamwork, communication (both verbal and written), and presentation skills.
Must demonstrate strong initiative to accept new technical challenges in complex system engineering assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Agile development experience
Understanding of Agile development tools (Jira, Confluence, etc)
AWS or other Cloud certifications
Linux Systems administration or Systems Engineering experience
Experience supporting full lifecycle A&A process for classified DoD or IC infrastructure and application service delivery.
