About the role
Deel is looking for a UX Copywriter to join the Product Team. If you love unifying copy across different touchpoints for a global audience, finding ways to make microcopy exciting, and are not intimidated by Figma, this may be the role for you. We’re looking for a UX Copywriter to help uplift, innovate, and ensure our platform is easy to use, understand, and navigate. After all, we want Deel to be the most exciting brand within the global HR space. Heck, why not tech space in general? There’s a lot of room for growth, and you’ll have the opportunity to work within the Product Team to craft copy that lives inside Deel and among other touchpoints.
What you’ll do at Deel
Help craft copy for the Deel product, websites, email web apps, internal tools, and mobile apps that are easy-to-understand and on brand
Unify copy style for continuity from email to platform to invoice
Manage and edit copy across different product touchpoints, including the website
Continually push to improve UX copy for our customers
Embed yourself within product designers, PMs, and engineers at all stages of the product and web development process—from ideation to implementation
Create copy systems, guides, and frameworks to help shape Deel products
Shape product experiences with meaningful text that helps customers complete tasks
Perform experiments and multivariate tests, and review data provided by our team to inform your copy strategy and optimize Deel for the better
Work in sprints alongside product designers to ship new features and copy fast
Some key qualifications
5+ years experience as a UX Writer or similar role writing both long and short copy for digital products (web, app, and email) utilizing UX research and best practices
Native English speaker with strong writing skills
Proven track record of successfully working within product teams
Always down for a brainstorm
An understanding of what makes an excellent (and bad) copy
Self-motivated and good with time management
Able to juggle (not actually) multiple deliverables weekly
Extremely detail oriented
Ability to maintain brand consistency throughout different product flows
Understand user experience to connect copy across the user journey
Be located in EMEA, LATAM, or US Eastern time zones
We’d especially love to speak with you if you’ve
Worked for an HR, payroll, or fintech company
Comfortable using Figma (don’t worry, you won’t have to design)
Been a part of a fast-growing startup
Previously operated in a role within a remote, distributed team
