  • 1-3 years of experience in an engineering technician role
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated ability to perform intermediate-level engineering tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and testing of mechanical and electronic systems in accordance with DoD specifications
  • Proficient in using advanced diagnostic tools and test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) to identify and resolve system malfunctions
  • Skilled in interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for system troubleshooting and repair
  • Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance
  • SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
Responsibilities
  • Perform basic repair and maintenance operations on equipment, ensuring functionality and adherence to standards
  • Conduct test procedures and collect observational data for analytical use
  • Prepare and organize technical data for presentations or documentation purposes
  • Assist senior technicians and engineers in performing evaluations or system tests, including preparing basic test setups and tools
  • Maintain operational logs and records to ensure accurate tracking of work performed and components used
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Experience with tools and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Strong organizational abilities for tracking and documenting engineering data reports
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for resolving minor equipment and instrumentation issues
  • Relevant military experience
