Full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with an on-call rotation and occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities maintenance in multifamily housing or hospitality.
  • Advanced experience in at least two trades, such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, or painting.
  • Working knowledge of appliances.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions accurately.
  • EPA Universal Certification is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the specified physical activities, including climbing when required.
  • Ability to detect auditory and visual alarms.
  • Availability to work extended or flexible hours, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.
  • Full-time availability and regular attendance are required.
Responsibilities
  • Set scope, technical specifications, budget tracking, schedules, material and equipment requirements, subcontractor and vendor bidding and management, and overall planning and execution for cost-effective facility and maintenance projects.
  • Anticipate potential problems and implement or oversee preventive actions so the physical aspects of the community meet safety and operational procedures.
  • Provide leadership and development for the maintenance team, including scheduling, duties, and performance management.
  • Direct and oversee maintenance work orders and unit turns in a timely manner while providing customer service to residents.
  • Complete unit inspections as needed and maintain orderly documentation.
  • Maintain an inventory of basic personal tools, including a hammer, screwdriver, adjustable wrench, tape measure, and flashlight, to complete task requirements.
  • Organize, maintain, and use provided supplies cost-effectively.
  • Pre-diagnose and troubleshoot building systems before scheduling repairs.
  • Repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry issues.
  • Perform on-call service requests and emergency calls as needed.
  • Maintain an appearance appropriate to the company image.
  • Complete additional tasks or duties assigned by the supervisor.
  • Maintain a commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education programs.
  • Participate in company functions and events.
Desired Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Certified Pool Operator certification.
  • Intermediate computer and Internet knowledge.
  • Ability to use on-site resident management software.
