Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Applied Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited university, or an equivalent technical degree with relevant experience is required.
  • Seven or more years of progressive engineering experience in hydraulic or electrohydraulic system design and integration are required.
  • Experience delivering engineered-to-order systems in marine, oil and gas, defense, civil infrastructure, or heavy industrial environments is required.
  • Strong understanding of system-level engineering, design reviews, and lifecycle execution is required.
  • Experience negotiating, reviewing, and developing contract technical specifications is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead system-level design for complex hydraulic, electric, and electrohydraulic systems, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions aligned with customer and application requirements.
  • Provide senior-level technical guidance and design review for complex projects, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Partner with project management and operations to ensure engineering deliverables support efficient fabrication, testing, installation, and commissioning.
  • Work with sales, system integration, and engineering operations teams during pursuit and proposal phases to support solution development, technical risk assessment, and cost accuracy.
  • Support engineering efforts for defense-related programs by ensuring designs comply with CMMC 2.0 cybersecurity requirements and applicable military specification standards.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to uphold security, documentation, and technical compliance across the full project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of engineering processes, design standards, documentation practices, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, consistency, and scalability.
  • Serve as a technical interface with key customers, original equipment manufacturers, classification societies, and regulatory bodies for technically complex or high-visibility programs.
  • Stay current on industry trends in electrification, controls, energy storage, and fluid power to guide system design and technology adoption.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability across engineering activities and throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced technical training or certifications related to hydraulics and/or fluid power are a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of electric power systems, controls, programmable logic controller programming, and/or fluid power systems.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and approve electrical, hydraulic, and control schematics.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience working in or supporting ISO-certified environments is a plus.

Lauren Cooper Promoted to Vice President of Marketing

Lauren Cooper promoted to Vice President of Marketing. Houston, TX - February 20, 2026 - Employee Owned Holdings, Inc. (EOH) is proud to announce the promotion of Lauren Cooper to Vice President of Marketing. In this new role, Lauren will provide leadership of the marketing function and oversee the strategic direction of EOH's marketing initiatives. She will continue to drive programs that strengthen brand presence, enhance customer engagement, and support growth across EOH's family of companies: Hydraquip, Inc., Supreme Integrated Technology, Inc., and GCC. Lauren began her career with EOH 18 years ago as an intern in the company's New Orleans office while attending the Louisiana State University. Following her internship, she transitioned into an inside sales role, gaining valuable frontline experience supporting customers and the sales team. In 2010, she transitioned to EOH's Houston headquarters, officially joining the marketing team and steadily advancing through the organization. Most recently, she served as EOH's Senior Director of Marketing, where she transitioned to leadership of the marketing team, led efforts in lead generation, digital strategy, branding, trade shows, and customer and employee engagement initiatives. Her leadership played a key role in modernizing the company's marketing approach and strengthening alignment across the organization.
