Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Quality, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Understanding of quality systems and tools, includingIATF 16949 / ISO 9001
  • Understanding of root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, 5-Whys)
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance and quality aspects within manufacturing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and time-management abilities
Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, and support the daily activities of QA Technicians in the Pipe Harness department to ensure compliance with quality standards and production schedules.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the NCSC Document Control System, ensuring timely updates, accuracy, and adherence to quality procedures.
  • Oversee NCSC compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other applicable industry and regulatory standards.
  • Drive effective root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures in response to customer complaints, nonconformances, and internal/external audits.
  • Collaborate closely with all internal departments to uphold quality standards throughout production processes.
  • Support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions for new designs, changes, or customer requirements.
  • Coordinate quality-related activities with Corporate Quality and act as the main contact for quality issues impacting the NCSC Pipe Harness division.
  • Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and documentation compliance.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the facility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
