Requirements
  • Typically a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in admission, financial aid, or other area of higher education is preferred.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral); poise and professionalism necessary to represent the University independently before a variety of constituencies.
  • Highly developed organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.), and familiarity with contemporary social media and other communication tools.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in all aspects of admission recruitment and outreach to prospective students.
  • Visit high schools and community colleges, represent LMU at college nights and college fairs, and participate in on campus recruitment programs.
  • Provide admission counseling to prospective students and their families regarding all aspects of admission and financial aid.
  • Read applications and evaluate candidates for admission. Utilize enrollment management guidelines to determine admissibility of students.
  • Serve as liaison to other offices and constituencies, on campus and off campus, as needed.
  • Assist with planning and execution of on campus recruitment events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
