  • 6+ years managing high-volume inside sales, preferably within a high-growth SaaS company
  • 3+ years of people management experience, including managing and developing managers
  • Deep sales skill set including managing to team to quota, pipeline management, objection handling, coaching team members, and CRM experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to complex problems - making sound choices on how to roll out new systems and processes in an iterative manner
  • Excellent analytical skills , including the ability to gather and examine data sets , including the use of basic statistical concepts, and to interpret them to make business choices (seriously, this is important - you have to understand and own your numbers)
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize among battling opportunities and to articulate your point of view on priorities
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Resourceful, self-motivated , and able to be successful in an entrepreneurial team-based environment
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Affinity for local businesses
  • Experience selling solutions or products to small businesses is a huge plus
Responsibilities
  • Help the team hit their revenue and sales efficiency metrics to ensure the Homebase scales rapidly and efficiently
  • Guide a team of 6-10 sales professionals to achieve and exceed targets
  • Build a world-class advisory-driven high volume sales team by investing in and developing the existing team and being responsible for recruiting top talent to your team
  • Partner with product and engineering to design and implement systems to improve efficiency and accuracy for HR SaaS sales
  • Leverage your experience and demonstrate how to get things done: talk to customers, deliver demos, develop contact strategies, etc
  • Use data to inform your choices (you must be comfortable analyzing data and forming actions)
  • Create a culture of feedback so that product and marketing teams hear the “voice of the customer” in all their choice making
  • Develop the sales skills of your direct reports. Your presence should accelerate the development and career aspirations of those reporting to you
  • Create a team culture that is highly connected to the mission of helping small businesses and their teams
