Last Energy seeks a highly skilled project manager or engineering professional to strategically organize and expedite our international and cross-functional Licensing team’s activities. The primary focus of this position is to help drive the progress of international micro-nuclear power projects by facilitating safety case development and other licensing efforts.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Project manage a cross-functional team of 5-10 experts, overseeing the efficient delivery of documentation on an expedited schedule
- Track technical communication deliverables tailored for stringent global licensing authorities
- Act as the main point of contact for external analysis resources, managing budgets and schedules for independent 3rd party verification firms
- Continuously advocate for clear and effective communication within internal teams, fostering a culture of simplicity and alignment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience in project management, process safety, hazard analysis, or a relevant field
- Strong leadership and project management experience, successfully leading cross-functional teams to meet ambitious targets
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies is strongly preferred
- Proficient in written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageous
- Comfortable adapting communication style to diverse global audiences
- Prior experience in the energy sector or other highly regulated industries is a big plus
- Nuclear industry exposure is not required
