Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and servicing Lenel hardware and software
  • Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Physical Access Control (PACS), Internet Protocol (IP) video surveillance systems and other security systems
  • Able to perform maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and testing of security wiring & power circuits
  • Be familiar with and have a working knowledge of a multitude of systems including but not limited to: DoD and DoE Security Systems and requirements, Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems such as Lenel, Software House, Milestone, IP CCTV Surveillance Systems such as Milestone, Mechanical and electromechanical locking systems (electronic strikes, locks, mag’s, etc.)
  • Experience as a technician with installation of electronics/electrical systems including, but not limited to: Intrusion Detection Systems, Access Control Systems, Closed Circuit Television, Security Cameras, Intercom Systems, Mass Notification Systems, Conduit Installation, Low Voltage Electrical Systems
  • Must be able to travel extensively (75% or more)
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and test physical security equipment (access control panels, alarm systems, CCTV devices, card readers, locking hardware)
  • Support integration and commissioning of Lenel OnGuard access control systems
  • Conduct site surveys, assist with redlines/as-built documentation, and provide field input for turnover packages
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, and mechanical components of security systems
  • Collaborate with field teams and WAPA representatives to resolve technical issues and close punch-list items
  • Adhere to DOE/WAPA safety and security protocols while on-site
  • Travel extensively throughout the DSW and RMR regions to support task order execution
